From Victim to representative advocate: ANOROC's Journey
During the early 2000s, our family home in a multi-unit development faced significant weathertightness issues, leading to substantial financial and mental health challenges throughout a lengthy process of identification and remediation, which ultimately involved a mediated class action claim.
Identifying there was no Owner advocacy, drawing on my military background in purchasing, commercial contracting and standard operating procedure drafting, I established an Owners Representation service to address the long-standing neglect of crucial aspects of the remedial process. This service is tailored to improve transparency, communication, and effective planning and coordination, aiming to rectify the historical disadvantages that Owners have faced and continue to face in the present day
Since 2004, ANOROC has been at the forefront of Consulting Services, specialising in providing guidance and advice to the those dealing with weathertightness issues with several Bodies' Corporate engaging ANOROC to lead them through the physical remediation process.
ANOROC's expertise has also grown to encompass buildings experiencing failures in product or construction process failures due to design or end-of-service life factors.
ANOROC's extensive industry experience ensures unbiased representation and advocacy for Owners, leveraging a Project Control Group of reputable professionals to execute a customised remedial solution, facilitating improved service levels through longstanding, strong industry connections.
As a Remedial Specialist, ANOROC serves as an intermediary between a Bodies Corporate or a Commercial Property Manager and the various parties involved in providing the comprehensive remedial solution or related service.
ANOROC consistently delivers value by gathering, analysing, and presenting relevant information to an Owners Collective, facilitating well-informed decision-making and the successful implementation of those decisions.
