ANOROC’s expertise encompasses in-depth consultation which invariably leads to a comprehensive survey through to meticulous planning, seamless facilitation and the implementation of a tailored solution to meet the buildings assessed needs.

ANOROC works autonomously, serving as an experienced intermediary between a Bodies Corporate or a Commercial Property Manager and the various other parties that will be engaged to deliver the comprehensive remedial solution and related services. Our autonomy ensures impartial representation for an Owners Collective, prioritising their interests throughout the process.

About Us

During the early 2000s, our family home in a multi-unit development experienced extensive weathertightness issues, resulting in substantial financial and mental health challenges throughout a prolonged identification and remediation process that involved a mediated class action claim.

Identifying there was no Owner advocacy, drawing on my military background in purchasing, commercial contracting, and standard operating procedure development, I established an Owners Representation service. This service was specifically crafted to address the long-standing neglect of vital aspects of the remediation process, such as transparency, communication, and efficient planning and coordination, which have historically placed Owners at a disadvantage, unfortunately continuing to do so to this day.

Andi expertly managed the remediation of our 32 Townhouse complex over a 2 Years, addressing fire compliance issues and structural deficiencies from a failing cladding system. He coordinated with a myriad of consultants, engineers, quantity surveyor, construction crew, insurer, banks and various legal firms while controlling the finances and providing regular updates to the Committee and MBIE. Andi's common sense, pragmatism, and transparency made him a great asset.

Andi led the Weathertightness and Cyclone Gabrielle remediation projects for our 39-Unit complex, navigating bureaucracy, engaging stakeholders, and advocating for affected owners. His common sense, pragmatism, and transparency kept the focus on key objectives, while his industry knowledge benefited all involved. Andi’s genuine care and sense of humour helped ease challenging situations.

I've known Andi since 2020 through Auckland projects involving bodies corporate and strata titles. He delivers optimal outcomes in complex projects, managing stakeholders and supporting body corporates with significant remediation challenges. An active member of the strata titles community, Andi builds strong relationships and regularly presents on remediation issues.

Andi led our FAP project, which in the instance of weather tightness was new and groundbreaking, and Andi was instrumental in navigating his way through the bureaucracy, engaging the stakeholders and educating and advocating throughout. At all times he was mindful and respectful of the impacted owners and provided a genuine level of care and concern, working tirelessly to champion for those who were unfairly disadvantaged by legislation, regulation and mother nature - in other words events entirely outside their control.

Andi brings common sense and pragmatism to projects where experts get so preoccupied with the detail, they lose sight of their true focus. He works fairly and transparently and his experience within the industry of both people and processes is advantageous to his client. Above all he's got a great sense of humour and brings light to often very sombre situations.
